Do you want to be part of something amazing? Well grab your trainers and enter Race for Life 2009.
It's only for women and it's only 5 kms - you can run, jog, walk or even crawl! Every penny you raise will go to Cancer Research UK – to help more people survive cancer.
Events:
- Sunday 10 May at Harlow Town Park - 11am start
- Wednesday 15 July at North Weald Airfield, Epping - 7.30pm start
Last year over 5300 women in Harlow and Epping walked, jogged or ran the event and raised an incredible £387,000.
In 2009, organisers are hoping 5600 women will put their best feet forward and raise £396,000.

Launch events:
The Ten-17 Thunders will help launch Race for Life 2009 at the following locations (12noon to 2pm at all locations):
- Monday 9th Feb: Epping High Street – in the marketplace
- Thursday 12th Feb – Harlow Water Gardens
- Thursday 19th Feb – Bishop’s Stortford – Jackson Square
Harlow and Epping Forest participants will be part of a total of 680,000 women from across the UK, taking part at over 230 events between May and July.
Cancer Research UK hopes that together they will raise a total of £60 million to fund the charity’s life saving work.
