3. If I Were A Boy

Showing a more mellow side to her music, 'If I Were A Boy' became Beyoncé's fourth solo No.1. The song saw her explore relationships from a male perspective.

4. Irreplaceable

Memorable for its 'to the left, to the left' hook, this acoustic guitar-led, mid-tempo track is one of her biggest solo successes to date and had the crowds singing along in unison on her last live outing, The Beyoncé Experience.

5. Beautiful Liar

A duet with Latin pop superstar, 'Beautiful Liar', this song topped the charts back in 2007 and was the perfect blend of the pair's different musical styles.

6. Deju Vu

Another collaboration with her other half, Jay Z, 'Deja Vu' was the first single to be taken from her second album, 'B Day' and stormed to the top of the hit40uk chart.

7. Say My Name

This was the first Destiny's Child single to be released after the band's first line-up change, which saw original members LeToya and LaTavia replaced by Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin. Produced by the in-demand Darkchild production team, it was at that point their biggest hit so far.

8. Independent Women

Written for the soundtrack of the Charlies Angels movie, 'Independent Women' became an anthem for ladies everywhere and was the first Destiny's Child single release as a trio. Soaring to No.1 on release, it remains one of the group's signature songs.

9. Listen

Taken from the soundtrack of the critically-acclaimed movie, Dreamgirls, the emotive ballad, 'Listen' unfortunately fell short of the top ten on its initial release in 2007, but justice was done a year later when she performed the song as a duet with X Factor winner, Alexandra Burke.

10. Halo

Produced by OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder, 'Halo' is Beyoncé's latest single. Boasting another stunning vocal performance from the lady herself, this epic ballad has already become the third top ten single from the 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' album.
