Christmas Lights

The countdown to Christmas begins on Sunday 15th November with some great family fun all across Harlow town centre.

The fun starts at midday and includes:

  • Live performances in Broadwalk and the Harvey Centre hosted by Ten-17
  • Street entertainers
  • Fun fair
  • Pets Corner reindeer (in the Water Gardens)
  • Free glow stick parade with Father Christmas
  • Punch & Judy and fairground organ

The lights are switched on at 4:30pm, featuring characters from Cinderella, followed by a fireworks spectacular.

On top of the big switch-on event itself, Harlow Town Centre will, for the first time ever, see free parking for late night shopping at the Water Gardens and the Harvey Centre between 6pm – 9pm on five Thursdays beginning on 19th November, with over 50 shops opening. Carol singers and street entertainers will also be on hand to add to the seasonal spirit.

Terminus House NCP will also be free on the 19th and 26th November from 6pm – 9pm.

This year’s lights and activities are being organised by the Town Centre Partnership, with the support of Harlow Council, Harlow Renaissance, Stockland UK, GSK, and Yates.
