Stolen cars found

£2million worth of cars stolen from Herts, Essex and other parts of the UK have been found by police.

Officers spent six weeks searching containers at Felixstowe port and discovered more than 70 high end cars they think were stolen to order as part of crimes dating back to January 2008.

Most of the high-value vehicles were taken from people's homes after burglars stole their car keys, police said.

The others were stolen through theft, fraud and civil dispute.

They included high-value Mercedes, BMWs, Range Rovers, Land Rovers, and motorbikes.

The haul also featured surprise discoveries such as JCBs and Ford KAs.
